Notre Dame and the Iles

The Île St. Louis and Île de la Cité are islands that sit smack dab in the middle of the Seine and are small, perfect for exploring. St. Louis doesn't really have any monuments, just lots of shops and restaurants, including the best ice cream in Paris, at Berthillon. I wandered around St. Louis, stopping for a crepe and ice cream, checking out the cheese shops, and taking pics of the Seine.









The Île de la Cite is packed with monuments--Notre Dame, the Conciergerie, Sainte-Chapelle. I've been to all of them before, so didn't stand in line, but got some pics from outside.
